Officially the Republic of Rwanda, is a landlocked country, located a few degrees south of the Equator. The greatest diversity of large mammals is found in the three national parks and volcanoes are home to an estimated one-third of the worldwide mountain gorilla population. Rwanda's economy suffered heavily during the 1994 genocide, the economy has since strengthened, now one of the best countries to do business in Africa. Rwanda has been described as an emerging tech hub for Africa, with an increase of start-up companies.
