Eswatini is Africa’s little gem. With a thriving population, varying landscapes and rolling hills. The country is a tourist favorite and amongst one of the most scenic places on the continent. eSwatini is best known for its beautiful scenic and mountainous landscapes with waterfalls, gorges, rolling hills, rivers, valleys, and stunning mountain peaks. As one of the few remaining monarchies in Africa, culture and heritage are deeply engrained in all aspects of Swazi life. Africa’s last absolute monarchy and one of the few remaining in the world. In April 2018 the king announced that he was changing the official name of the country from the Kingdom of Swaziland to the Kingdom of Eswatini. Two capital cities Mbabane, administrative capital, and Lobamba, the traditional capital. Home to the oldest mountains in the world, over 3.6 billion years old. Host country of Annual globally recognized festival, one of the “7 African music festivals you really have to see.
